Exam stress is real. Learning to appreciate your limits and take care of yourself is an important life skill. Better stress mangement can improve both your concentration and your health. Which is why we at DSD have put together a programme of relaxing events for you to take part in throughout the exam pariod. These events are designed to help you decompress between exams, deadlines, and revision session.

Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that will help you to de-stress, unwind and improve your sleep. During the session you'll be guided into a state between awake and asleep where you can systematically relax all levels of your being and create space to release long-held emotions and invite in new intentions.

Destress with Massage

An energising massage to help alleviate symptoms of stress and adverse effects of desk-based working. Concentrating on the whole back targeting areas of tension and discomfort. No removal of clothing and no messy oils! There are only 6 massages available so book quick!

Mindfulness in a Busy Schedule

We will explore simple and brief meditation and mindful living practices to help you ground yourself and find some clarity during a busy stressful day. You will need to prepare a raisin or a piece of fruit for this session.

This session will be run by Isabel, Talking Therapist at Student Services.
