The group will head out at a social pace, pedal to a café for a half-way pit stop, then spin back to UEA. Students of all abilities who feel confident cycling on roads are welcome to come along to these group rides. Don’t worry if you think you’re too slow – the speed will allow every rider who attends to comfortably keep up. The rides will be about an hour long, with a short break in the middle to rehydrate and refuel. Make the most of your time at UEA and experience what the surrounding area has to offer, clear your head and meet new people while getting active. Bikes, helmets and high-vis jackets are available to borrow if you don’t have your own. Please bring some change for the café stop. You’ll need to wear trainers and clothing suitable for cycling – something that gives you freedom of movement and will keep you warm and dry if it’s raining, gloves if it’s cold.
