If you are considering entering East Anglian Film Archive’s mash up competition, then this is a great opportunity to get some training and experience in making films using archival materials.
This is an interactive session where you are will be given the opportunity to source, import and edit archival footage in preparation for making your own mash up films.
This session is aimed to work in conjunction with the Mash-Up Filmmaking activity on Monday 18th, though can be attended as a standalone event.
This event is aimed to work alongside the Mash-Up Competition Launch, which opens a competition for students to create their own mash-up film for the chance to have it screened publically. We reccomend that you consider booking onto both these activities.
This session is run three times throughout the 19th of February - at 11:00am-1pm, 1:30pm-3:30pm and 3:30pm-5:30pm. You need only attend one to get the most from the session.

What is Do Something Different?
The Do Something Different Programme is about trying a new activity and sparking your interests! We aim to encourage greater student interaction from across schools, liberations and courses that build your knowledge and skills as individuals. Perhaps you've been looking to try a new sport, attending a live music performance, or dabbling in an academic subject that piques your interest? We collate a wide variety of different activities happening across campus - from sports and games, to trips and extracurricular lectures!
There's always something happening every single day, and most events are absolutely free or cost very little! The best events will return during the Do Something Different Festival in Semester Two - a week-long celebration in which teaching is suspended for you to try a huge range of activities! Stay tuned for the full Festival programme coming soon!
